Janitorial services for commercial buildings

Your building is clean, stocked, and ready every morning, with one account manager who answers for the work.

When your janitorial program works, the trash is out, the restrooms are stocked, the floors are clear, and the conference room is ready for the 8 a.m. meeting. National Cleaning Group runs that program for offices, clinics, schools, warehouses, stores, and public buildings across the United States.

Every program starts with a free facility assessment. We walk your building, then price the work for the space you actually have. Our crews are background-checked and trained, and we are insured and bonded.

What our janitorial services cover

We build each program area by area. A typical one includes:

  • Trash and recycling. Emptied, liners replaced, and taken to your dumpster or collection point.
  • Restrooms. Toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors cleaned. Dispensers refilled.
  • Kitchenettes and break rooms. Counters, sinks, tables, and appliance exteriors wiped. Floors mopped.
  • Floors. Carpet vacuumed. Hard floors swept and damp-mopped.
  • Dusting. Desks, sills, ledges, and other reachable surfaces.
  • High-touch points. Door handles, light switches, elevator buttons, railings, and shared equipment.
  • Entries and lobbies. Glass doors spot-cleaned, mats vacuumed, and reception areas reset.

Heavily used areas get more attention. A busy restroom may be serviced every visit, while a private office that sits empty half the week is done on a lighter cycle. Your budget goes to the spaces people use.

Built around your building

Facilities run differently, and a generic checklist misses that. During the walkthrough we note:

  • Square footage and how each area is used
  • Number of restrooms and fixtures
  • Floor types, from carpet to vinyl tile to sealed concrete
  • Hours of operation and when crews can get in
  • Access, keys, alarms, and any badging requirements
  • Areas that need extra care, such as exam rooms, lobbies, or break rooms

From there we set a frequency for each space. For offices and multi-tenant buildings, see our office cleaning services. For clinics, see medical office cleaning. For distribution centers and plants, see warehouse and manufacturing cleaning.

Night, early-morning, or day schedules

Most offices want cleaning after close, and the building is ready when people arrive. Some facilities need an early-morning crew, a split shift, or daytime cleaning because they run late or limit after-hours access. We work to your hours.

If your lobby and restrooms need attention while the building is open, pair your night program with day porter services. The night crew does the full reset, and the porter keeps high-traffic areas presentable during the day.

One provider for the whole building

Most buildings need more than a nightly pass. National Cleaning Group can add these to the same contract:

  • Floor care: stripping and refinishing, scrub and recoat, burnishing, and carpet extraction on a set schedule.
  • Disinfection services: touchpoint programs for restrooms, break rooms, and shared equipment.
  • Light facility maintenance: lamp changes, ceiling tile swaps, and small fixes handled alongside cleaning.

You deal with one company and get one invoice for all of it.

How quality is managed

  • Trained crews. Every cleaner is background-checked and trained before working in your building.
  • Supervisor inspections. Supervisors walk the building on a regular schedule and check the work.
  • Dedicated account manager. One person handles your requests, changes, and concerns.
  • Fast response. Urgent requests, like a spill or a restroom problem before a visit, get a quick answer.

When your needs change, such as a new suite, a new shift, or a floor that needs refinishing, your account manager updates the plan and the price.

What janitorial services cost

Price depends on square footage, cleaning frequency, restroom count, floor types, and any porter hours. Two buildings of the same size can be very different jobs, which is why we walk your facility before we quote. For a breakdown of what drives the number, read our guide to commercial cleaning costs. For a task-by-task view, read what janitorial services include.

A certificate of insurance is available on request.

Questions facility managers ask

What is included in a janitorial visit?

A typical program covers trash and recycling, restrooms, kitchenettes and break rooms, vacuuming, hard-floor mopping, dusting, and high-touch wipe-downs. Floor refinishing, carpet extraction, and day porter hours can be added as their own lines.

How many nights a week do we need?

It depends on headcount, visitors, and how the building is used. Busy offices and clinics usually need five nights. Lightly used space may do well with three, plus restroom service on the off nights. We recommend a frequency for each area after the walkthrough.

Can you clean during the day instead of at night?

Yes. Night and early-morning cleaning suits most offices, but buildings that run late shifts or restrict after-hours access can be cleaned during the day. We set the hours around your operations.

Who supplies paper goods, soap, liners, and chemicals?

Either of us can. We can supply equipment, chemicals, paper, soap, and liners, or you can. The proposal states the split for your site, which makes bids easier to compare.

How do you check the quality of the work?

Supervisors inspect the work on a regular schedule, and your account manager takes calls and emails about anything that needs attention. Inspection frequency is set in your service plan.
