Medical office cleaning services for clinics and outpatient suites

Waiting rooms cleaned, exam rooms reset, and restrooms stocked before your first patient arrives, on a schedule built around your clinic hours and room list.

National Cleaning Group cleans medical offices, outpatient suites, dental and specialty practices, and multi-tenant medical office buildings. Each program is built around your room list, your patient hours, and the rules your practice already follows.

What we clean in a medical office

Floor plans differ, but the core areas are consistent:

  • Waiting rooms and reception. Seating, side tables, check-in counters, door hardware, glass, and floors, cleaned on every visit.
  • Exam and treatment rooms. Counters, sinks, exam-table surfaces, chairs, light switches, trash, and floors, following the do-not-touch list your staff sets.
  • Restrooms. Fixtures cleaned and disinfected, dispensers restocked, floors mopped with a disinfectant.
  • Staff areas. Break rooms, workrooms, nurse stations, and private offices.
  • Common areas. Corridors, elevators, stairwells, and entrances in medical office buildings.

Crews work clean to dirty and use color-coded cloths and mop heads. Restroom tools never touch an exam room counter.

Disinfection that follows the label

Cleaning removes soil. Disinfection kills germs on a surface, and only when the product stays wet for its full contact time. We use EPA-registered disinfectants. They go on the surfaces patients and staff touch most: door handles, check-in counters, armrests, exam-room surfaces, faucets, and restroom fixtures.

If your practice specifies a product, we can use it. Broader work, such as electrostatic application after a busy flu week, is priced as its own line. See disinfection services for how those programs are built.

Scheduled around your patients

The main clean happens after the last appointment, or early enough in the morning that the crew is out before doors open. Clinics with long hours or busy waiting rooms often add a daytime porter for restrooms, spills, and restocking between patients. Porter time is quoted separately. Read more on day porter services.

Medical waste stays with your practice's licensed hauler. Our crews handle ordinary trash and recycling and leave sharps containers and regulated waste where your staff manages them.

Floors take a beating in clinics

Rolling stools, wheelchairs, and steady foot traffic wear down vinyl and sheet flooring fast. Hard floors are mopped on every visit, with periodic scrubbing, recoating, or carpet extraction in waiting areas when the floor can be closed. Details are on floor care.

Your site rules, written into the scope

Every practice has rules about privacy and access. We agree on them before the first visit:

  • Which rooms are cleaned nightly, which weekly, and which are off limits
  • No photos in clinical areas and no handling of charts, screens, or paperwork
  • Knock-and-enter rules for any room that may be occupied
  • Items left on counters or exam tables stay put
  • Keys, alarm codes, and who the crew calls if something is wrong

If your compliance office has added requirements, send them before the walkthrough.

Consistency you can check

Clinics need the same result every night. Supervisors inspect the work on a regular schedule, and your office manager has a dedicated account manager for missed items, schedule changes, and added work. Crews are background-checked and trained. When the practice adds exam rooms or extends hours, the quote is updated.

How to start

Book a free facility assessment. We walk the suite with you, count exam rooms and restrooms, note floor types and patient hours, and ask what is and is not working with your current cleaning. A written quote follows.

The medical office cleaning checklist lists the room-by-room tasks most clinics include. For a practice inside a larger office building, janitorial services explains how nightly programs are set up.

Questions facility managers ask

What areas of a medical office do you clean?

Waiting rooms, reception counters, exam rooms, restrooms, staff workrooms, break rooms, corridors, and offices. Every room is listed by name with how often it is cleaned.

Can you clean before patients arrive or after the last appointment?

Yes. Most clinics get their main clean after the last patient leaves or early in the morning before doors open. If the waiting room and restrooms need attention during the day, we can add day porter hours as a separate line.

What disinfectants do you use?

Disinfectants suited to your surfaces, left wet for the full contact time. We can use a product your practice already specifies and agree with you which surfaces are disinfected on each visit.

How do you handle patient privacy?

Crews follow your rules: no photos in clinical areas, no handling of charts or screens, knock-and-enter for occupied rooms, and items on counters stay where they are. The crew is briefed before the first night.

How is medical office cleaning priced?

After a free facility assessment. Price depends on the number of exam rooms and restrooms, floor types, how many nights per week, and whether you want daytime coverage. You get a written quote before you sign anything.
