Hospitality cleaning for hotel lobbies and public areas

Clean lobbies, stocked public restrooms, and meeting rooms reset on time, with heavy work done overnight and a day porter on hand during busy hours.

National Cleaning Group cleans the public and back-of-house areas of hotels, conference centers, event venues, and resorts. Each program is built around your occupancy, your event calendar, and the hours your front desk is busiest, with overnight work and daytime coverage priced as separate lines.

What we clean

  • Lobbies and entrances. Floors, entry glass, seating, front-desk surroundings, luggage carts, and door hardware.
  • Public restrooms. Fixtures cleaned and disinfected, dispensers restocked, mirrors and floors, with daytime checks during busy periods.
  • Elevators and corridors. Cab walls, buttons, floors, and hallway carpet.
  • Meeting and event rooms. Tables, chairs, floors, and resets between events.
  • Fitness centers and pool areas. Equipment touchpoints, mats, floors, and deck areas.
  • Back of house. Staff break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and service corridors.
  • Restaurant and bar dining areas. Front-of-house floors and seating, priced by outlet.

Overnight resets, daytime polish

Heavy work happens when the lobby is quiet. Overnight crews scrub and mop hard floors, vacuum carpet, detail restrooms, and clean glass before the morning rush.

During the day, spills, wet entrances, and a restroom that needs attention after a conference break cannot wait until night. A day porter looks after public areas while guests are on site. Porter hours are priced separately, and many properties book them only for peak check-in times or event days.

Meeting rooms and events

Each turn is planned with a room list, the time each room must be ready, and your events team's reset standard: tables wiped, floors vacuumed, trash cleared, chairs set. Send your typical event calendar and the lead time you can give on changes, and we staff to match.

Floors that match your brand

Lobby floors take the most traffic in the building. Marble, stone, terrazzo, luxury vinyl, and carpet each need their own care. Beyond nightly cleaning, we schedule burnishing, scrub and recoat, and carpet extraction in corridors and meeting rooms. Stone polishing and specialty restoration can be quoted after your assessment. See floor care for the full list.

Touchpoints guests notice

Elevator buttons, door handles, front-desk counters, restroom fixtures, and fitness equipment are disinfected on every visit. During flu season or after a large event, extra touchpoint rounds can be added as a separate line. More on disinfection services.

Guest rooms

Our core hospitality program covers public and back-of-house areas. If you need support with guest rooms, ask during your assessment.

One point of contact for your property

Hotels change fast. A group block arrives early, a ballroom flips from lunch to a reception, or a storm soaks the entrance. Your dedicated account manager knows the property and adjusts staffing for added work. Supervisors inspect the lobby, restrooms, and meeting space on a regular schedule and fix problems before guests notice them.

A property with more than one building, such as a conference center next to a hotel, can run as one program with a separate task list for each space.

Supplies and equipment

Many properties buy their own guest-facing amenities and paper to match brand standards, while we bring the cleaning equipment and chemicals. We agree on who supplies chemicals, equipment, paper, soap, and liners during the assessment, and the quote reflects it.

How to start

Book a free facility assessment. We walk your public areas, meeting space, and back of house with your team, review occupancy and the event calendar, and note floor types. You then receive a written quote for overnight and daytime service. For how nightly programs work, see janitorial services.

Questions facility managers ask

What areas does hospitality cleaning cover?

Lobbies, front-desk surroundings, public restrooms, elevators, corridors, meeting and event rooms, fitness centers, pool decks, and back-of-house areas such as staff break rooms and locker rooms.

Do you clean guest rooms?

Our core hospitality program covers public and back-of-house areas. If you need help with guest rooms, raise it during your assessment.

Can you turn meeting rooms between events?

Yes. Meeting-room turns are scoped with a room list, start times, and the reset standard you set. Give us your usual event calendar and lead time, and we build the staffing around it.

Does a hotel lobby need a day porter?

Most do. The overnight crew resets the lobby and restrooms, and a day porter keeps them in order while guests check in and move through the building. Porter hours are quoted separately.

When does the main cleaning happen?

Heavy lobby and floor work happens overnight during the quietest hours, often between midnight and early morning. Lighter tasks run through the day with porter coverage. We match the schedule to your occupancy and event patterns.
